A New Mind Set

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you  may prove what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God.       (Romans 12:2).

The best way to change your life is to change your thinking.  And the best way to change your thinking is to change your mental appetite.  What does a healthy mental appetite include?

(Psalm 37:3 Tells us to “feed on His faithfulness.”  (Jeremiah 15:16), says  “Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart.”  We can always ask Jesus to give us good nutrition.  In (John 10:9), He promises to lead us to find pasture.

If a spiritual dietitian analyzed  what goes into your mind each day, what would the report say?  That proportions of your mental food is godly and scriptural?  While it’s not so hard to control what we’re allowing into our minds.  Improving  our mental diet enriches our thinking, elevates  our attitudes, and renews our spirits.  In (Philippians 4:8), Paul presents six guidelines for proper meditation and thought: Think on whatever, is True, Noble, Just, Pure, Lovely, and of Good Report, we should think on them.
