Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Photographer, Isaac Quesada
” I Praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”                                                                                                                     Psalm 139:13-18

God is all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere present. God knows us. God is with us, and His greatest gift is to allow us to know Him. Psalm 139:14 tells us that God made all the delicate, inner parts of our body and knitted us together in our mother’s womb.  And we are so wonderfully complex!  It blesses me greatly to know that I’m here by design.  I was created and designed with a purpose.  And the blueprint  to my life are similar to other human beings, created by God.  Though created the same, I am unique- as is every living person and so are you.

The human body is so uniquely designed with multiple organs that all work intricately together.  Let’s be amazed together.  We have the cardiovascular system which provides us with energy to move.  The muscular system gives us the ability to move, walk, lift and hold things.  The digestive system, which processes food into energy and allows us to discard waste.  The immune system keeps us healthy.  The hormonal system that determines our gender.  The eyes that allows us to see all of Gods’ creation.  The nose that alerts us to various smells.  The tongue and mouth allows us to speak, eat and taste.  The ears allows us to hear. As the body’s largest organ, skin protects against germs, regulates body temperature and enables touch sensation.  But, that’s not all. We are so blessed with a brain so we can think, process, and create. It is said, the brain is the most complex organ in the human body. We can therefore experience many different emotions on a day to day basis.  These emotions help us to relate to other people and feel love and compassion.  Yes, it is these and so much more that are the special care that God put into creating each one of His living creatures. Making human beings unique and special in His sight.  God created us with Love on purpose.

There are times, when babies are born with birth defects. This happens when one or more of the intricate systems of the body is disrupted. But even so, God foresaw even those defects and uses them for good, if we allow him to.  Even our weaknesses are fearfully and wonderfully designed.

We have the innate ability to discern right from wrong.  Though, that ability is somewhat hindered, until you come to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.  We were created to have an ongoing relationship with Him.  None of us are an accident.  For we were created to know Him in all of His splender.

Yet, Planned Parenthood (PPFA), is the largest single provider of reproductive health services, including abortions, in the U.S.  In their 2014 Annual Report, PPFA reported seeing over 2.5 million patients in over 4 million clinical visits and performing a total of nearly 9.5 million discrete services including 324,000 abortions.  Pause…. Our lives mean something to God.

The next time you are feeling, uncared for, worthless, useless, displaced and all the other unwanted thoughts that may enter your mind.  Remember God’s character goes into the creation of every person. How Special you are to God.  Remember, not only that you were carefully designed but you were bought with a cost.  John3:16 says that God so Loved the world: that He gave  His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.  Do you know Him?  If you want to all you need to do is ask Jesus to forgive you of your Sins. Tell Him you want to make Him Lord and Savior of your life.. And that starts your journey of a life well lived.  If you prayed that please tell someone.
