Jesus Saves

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, whosoever,    believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting         John 3:16

This single verse tells more about God and His plan for this world than any other verse in the Bible. God gave the most extravagant thing He could to demonstrate His love for lost humankind, summoning and sending His only begotten Son to pay the debt for Sin.  (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 2:4; 1 John 4:9).

Did you know that we are all born (infected) in sin (Romans 3:23).  We are born sinners (Psalm 51:5) and we all personally choose to Sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8It is SIN that separates us from God. I’ve often heard our Pastor, tell us, who taught a toddler to lie?, No one …the Bible says because of our sin, we all deserve death (Romans 6:23).

All Sin is ultimately committed against an eternal and infinite God (Psalm 51:4).   God became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ.  God took on human flesh, lived  among us and taught us.  When the people rejected Him and His message, sought to  kill Him,  He willingly allowed Himself to be crucified ( John 10:15) in our place.  Because Jesus was human, He could die; and because Jesus was God, His death had eternal and infinite value.  Make no mistake, Jesus death on the cross was the perfect and complete payment for our sin (1 John 2:2).  Jesus took the consequence we deserved.  Jesus’ resurrection from the dead demonstrates that His death was the perfectly sufficient sacrifice for sin. The Bible says if we “Believe in the Lord Jesus, you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).  God has already done all the work.  All you need to do is receive, in faith, the Salvation God offers ((Ephesians 2:8-9).

Simply trust in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. Believe in Him and you will be saved!  Today God is offering you the free gift of Salvation. Will you accept it? Jesus is the only way of Salvation (John 14:6).

Will you in Faith accept this free gift today?  Receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.. Romans 10:13  says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”  If you, in Faith, received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please tell someone and tell me..I’d Love to pray with you.
